Ottawa, ON August15-17, 2008 — Capital Consultants Inc (CCI) is a proud sponsor of the Ottawa Caribo- Expo 2008.

CARIBE- EXPO is a spectacular display of CARIBBEN cultural heritage in the Nation’s Capital. It is a three days carnival featuring Caribbean performing artists, cultural events, steel pan concerts, rich culinary appetizers and a kaleidoscopic parade. It takes place in Ottawa during the period of August15th to the 17th. It draws thousands of local residents and tourists annually. (More than 10.000 people every year).

CCI with FUTURLINK technology would enable brands to get messages across effectively, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly way.

Effectively; Our vision is to see mobile phones and other portable devices converted into remote controls that will allow the consumers to interact with a product or service, obtain personalized information and make payments in the point of sales. All these activities will be simple, transparent to the technology and will incorporate a multimedia experience for the consumer.

Efficiently; Our technology can be easily integrated into the current advertising campaign, Bluetooth is an excellent channel to deliver premium content such as wallpapers, videos, mp3s etc associated with the brand to a consumer’s handset. However it is crucial to ensure the content you are offering will resonate and appeal to the target audience. We always put ourselves in the consumer’s shoes to ensure the content we are offering is relevant and appealing to the targeted demographic.

Environmentally friendly; CCI campaigns would reduce waste caused by printout materials such as flyers and posters, and it would also keep our city letters free “GO MOBILE GO GREEN”

CCI celebrated Canada’s 141st Birthday

CCI celebrated Canada’s “One Hundred and Forty One” Birthday (141) “CANADA DAY” by carrying a campaign in Ottawa, the Nations’ Capital.

A green Canadian flag and an audio file of the Canadian national anthem, simultaneously, were broadcasted to all Canadians present at the Parliament Hill.

The Green message was to invite Canadians to engage on environmental issues, introducing them to relatively a new technology “Bluetooth Advertising “.

“DICTION” Campaign

CCI provided the solution to the upcoming artist DICTION at Addiction Night club in Gatineau. Access points installed inside a promotional vehicle sending mp3 to mobile phones over Bluetooth to promote the release of his new single “The Birthday Suit”.

Go Mobile Go green Campaign

The objective of the campaign was to go to “WestFest” festival of music and art, spread the message of being environmentally aware and going green. Our point was “Go Mobile Go Green”.

To carry out this campaign, had to go through several challenges;

- Weather condition.

- Extreme short time.

- No call to action.

The method used was to have our CCI staff carry around backpacks with the Wilico

Access Points installed.

In less than 11/2 hours (9:30 Pm to 11:00 Pm) there were 103 phones detected and 43 downloads!

The success of this campaign was beyond expectation !!

MARCOM 2008 was a great success for CCI

On the 11th and the 12th of June 2008, CCI participated in MARCOM 2008 – the national conference that understands the daily reality in the world of public sector and not-for-profit marketing professionals. This took place in Hampton Inn Ottawa and Conference Centre.
MARCOM 2008 was a great success for CCI.

It was an excellent opportunity to present our new relational marketing solutiotions for mobile phones from point of sale, “Location to Mobile”, and from a web page, “Web to Mobile”, along with tools for digital content creation using short-range wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC) to the public sector and not-for-profit marketing delegates. The feedback was positive and we managed to develop a new alliance with ad agencies and marketers as well.

Capital consultants Inc. took part in CMA’s National Convention & Trade Show, which took place in Metro Toronto Convention center from the 12th to the 14th of May 2008. CMA’s National Convention & Trade Show is Canada’s largest marketing convention. Every year, marketing professionals from across the country gain a competitive advantage by participating in an amazing three-day program filled with actionable learning, amazing networking opportunities and the latest technical resources that can help their businesses succeed.

It is an event purely for professionals where companies show off their products and set trends in the world of Advertising and Marketing, More than 145 exhibitors took part in this latest edition.

CMA’s National Convention & Trade Show was a great success for CCI. An excellent location at the venue with well known neighbors gave us a good exposure with lots of prospectors visiting our booth we managed to close good deals with our local partners who will create new, fresh, emotional free Bluetooth and Wi-Fi proximity channels to complement traditional media supports.
